# Profile

The Profile panel controls your personal profile and shows the active workspace. Use this page to confirm how TestVibe identifies you, review the active workspace and plan, and check the test-generation defaults saved for the workspace.

## Open the Profile panel

1. Sign in to TestVibe.
2. Open a project.
3. Open **Settings** .
4. Under **Personal** , select **Profile** .

## Profile

The profile card shows how TestVibe identifies you — display name, email, and the GitHub handle when your account is linked to a GitHub identity. Sign-in methods are linked by verified email; see [Sign in](/quickstart/sign-in-with-github) .

The panel also shows **Sign-in methods** — connect or disconnect GitHub and Google sign-in (linked by verified email) — and a **Danger zone** where you can delete your account. Changing your email is verify-before-commit: the new address is staged and only takes effect after you confirm from a link sent to it.

## Workspace

The workspace card shows the active workspace: its type (personal or team), your role in it, the member count, and the plan it is on. If this is not the workspace you meant to look at, switch the active workspace from the workspace switcher in the header.

Members and roles are managed in **Settings → Members** ; plan and credits in **Settings → Billing** .

## Test generation

The test generation card shows the AI defaults saved for the workspace — the model and reasoning effort used when generating tests. Change them in **Settings → AI Model** ; higher reasoning produces more thorough tests but uses more credits. AI runs on TestVibe's metered first-party service — you do not need to provide a provider API key.
