# Credit Usage

**Settings → Credit Usage** (under **Workspace** ) shows how the workspace **spent** its credits this cycle — the counterpart to [Billing](/account-settings/usage) , which records credit additions.

## This cycle

The panel totals credits used since the start of the current month and breaks them down by area:

| Area | What it covers | Test generation | AI authoring and repairs. | Test runs | Cloud session time for functional runs. | Load testing | Cloud session time for load tests. | Assistant | The AI assistant's work. 

Each area splits into **compute** (run session time) and **AI** (tokens). A chronological list shows individual usage entries with a readable reason.

Usage draws from your included plan credits first, then purchased credits. Paid-plan allowances reset at the start of each month; the Free plan's included credits are a one-time grant that does not reset. Purchased credits always carry over. To top up or change plan, open [Billing](/account-settings/usage) .
