# Project

URL: https://docs.testvibe.com/reference/forms/project

**Help URL:**`/reference/forms/project`

## Purpose

View and edit a project's core settings, or delete the project. A project is a web app under test, identified by its site URL — there is no GitHub repository backing it. (Project settings live under **Settings → Project → Overview** .)

## Common Tasks

- Edit the project's display name.
- Confirm the project's primary site URL (the default URL for generation and runs).
- Delete the project from the danger zone after confirmation.

## Key UI Elements

- Project name: The user-facing name for the project.
- Site URL: The default URL TestVibe generates against and runs tests on; normalized to `https://…` when a scheme is missing. (Additional URLs live in **Settings → Environments** .)
- Save: Updates the project settings.
- Delete (danger zone): Permanently deletes the project and its content after confirmation.

## Notes

- All project content (features, generated specs, runs, artifacts) lives in TestVibe's cloud, not in a repository.
- To create a new project, use the in-app **Create a new project** flow (name + site URL). See [Create a new project](/workspace/create-new-project) .
- Next steps: create features and start runs in [Run](/reference/forms/run) .
